Changelog

What's shipped, release by release — "EA" marks this as Early Access, while the product is still taking shape from real feedback.

EA-V3.6 Current September 6, 2026

A new free thyroid tool that reads your TSH report and works out the exact time to take your tablet — plus a homepage picture that finally shows what Pillo actually does.

Added
  • New free tool — the Thyroid Report Checker. Enter your TSH, and Free T4 if your report has it, and it tells you which pattern your result fits: normal, subclinical, or the kind that usually needs treating. A raised TSH means something quite different depending on T4, and most charts online just print the ranges and leave you to work that out.
  • It handles the two things Indian thyroid reports get confusing. Pregnancy ranges differ by trimester, and many labs still print the old first-trimester cutoff that guidance has since moved away from — so a result flagged as abnormal often isn't. And because every lab prints its own reference range, you can type yours in instead of using ours.
  • If you already take a thyroid tablet, the tool works out the exact time you should take it from a single answer: when you have breakfast. Levothyroxine only absorbs properly on an empty stomach — in one study the same dose gave a mean TSH of 1.06 taken fasting against 2.93 taken with breakfast. It also lists what needs to stay four hours away from it: calcium, iron, antacids, and your morning tea.
Improved
  • The homepage picture now shows Pillo next to a phone with a real reminder on the screen — "Time for your 8:00 AM tablet" and a "Taken" reply — instead of just Pillo waving. What the service actually does is now clear from the picture alone.
  • That same picture is the one search engines show beside the site, and the site now asks them for a full-size preview instead of a small thumbnail.
EA-V3.5 September 1, 2026

The free trial is now a full month, medicines due at the same time arrive as one message instead of several, and a handful of things that were quietly not working now do.

Added
  • The free trial is now 1 month instead of 7 days — and if you're partway through a trial right now, it's been extended to a full 30 days from the day you signed up. Nothing to claim, it's already done.
  • One message for medicines taken at the same time — if three medicines are due at 9am, Pillo now sends a single reminder listing all three, and one "Taken" reply confirms the lot. No more tapping through three separate messages for the same moment.
  • New "Combine Same-Time Medicines" setting in WhatsApp Settings, on by default. Turn it off for anyone who you'd rather confirm each medicine separately.
  • Five new guides on the blog: finishing a course of antibiotics, what "before food" and "after food" actually mean, whether expired medicine is safe, the best time to take vitamins, and whether you can stop blood pressure medication once your readings are normal.
Improved
  • Signing up now takes you straight into adding your first Care Circle member, instead of dropping you on an empty dashboard and leaving you to find the button.
  • The landing page now shows what the service actually runs on — DPDP Act 2023 compliance, Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform, and the fact that prescription photos are deleted after they're read.
  • The Spanish, Hindi and Marathi blog now has its own titles and descriptions in each language, so those pages can be found in search rather than being treated as copies of the English blog.
Fixed
  • The "Message Pillo on WhatsApp" button on the homepage was pointing at a placeholder number and could never have reached Pillo. It now opens a chat with the real number.
  • Refill reminders — the nudge a couple of days before a medicine course runs out — were not being sent at all. They work now.
  • Renewal dates were missing from the dashboard and pricing page for subscriptions. They now show correctly.
  • Cancelling a plan now correctly stops reminders when your paid period actually ends. Previously that end date wasn't being recorded, so reminders could continue past it.
  • Subscription changes coming back from the payment provider — renewals and cancellations — were being rejected and never recorded against the account. They're processed properly now.
EA-V3 August 30, 2026

A rebuilt landing page for phones — everything you need to get started now fits on one screen, with a new animated walkthrough of how Pillo works and simpler pricing.

Added
  • A quick-action bar that follows you as you scroll on your phone, so "Message Pillo" and "Start Free" are always one tap away instead of only at the very top of the page.
  • An animated walkthrough in "How It Works" — watch a prescription photo turn into a daily schedule and then into a WhatsApp reminder, in one looping illustration.
  • Reassurance chips under the main buttons on mobile: 7-day free trial, works on any WhatsApp, set up in 2 minutes.
Improved
  • The landing page on phones now fits the headline, both buttons and the trust points on a single screen — previously you had to scroll past a full screen of artwork before reaching anything you could tap.
  • "How It Works" now appears earlier on the page, right after the trust bar, and is presented as one connected sequence instead of three separate cards.
  • Pricing is far easier to compare — every plan now lists the same six capabilities, so the only thing that changes between them is how many people the plan covers.
  • New illustrations for "For Yourself" and "For Your Family" — the family one now actually shows Pillo with elderly parents, matching what the section is about.
  • Real profile photos on the testimonials instead of coloured initials.
  • Redesigned the feature icons so each one depicts its own feature rather than a generic symbol.
  • Trimmed the trust section down to the proof you can actually check, and made it noticeably more compact on phones.
Fixed
  • The Spanish, Hindi and Marathi blog pages were showing English titles and descriptions, which meant search engines treated them as copies of the English blog and left them out of results. Each language now has its own.
EA-V2.6 August 18, 2026

Links from WhatsApp Setup now land you exactly where they promised, a clearer Medications page, and a safer way to clear a patient's medicine list.

Added
  • "Clear All Medications" button on a patient's page — removes every medicine and reminder for them in one step, behind a type-to-confirm safeguard so it can't happen by accident.
  • WhatsApp Setup now tells you that you can close the chat after uploading a prescription on the website — Pillo will message you there once it's saved.
Improved
  • Logging in from a specific link — like "Upload Prescription" from WhatsApp Setup — now takes you straight to that page afterward instead of dropping you on the general dashboard.
  • The "Setup complete" WhatsApp message after uploading a prescription on the website now matches the cleaner wording (and includes a link to your medicines) used when finishing setup manually in WhatsApp.
  • Edit and delete icons on the Medications page now have distinct hover colors, so they're easier to tell apart at a glance.
  • WhatsApp login codes now arrive via an approved Meta message template.
Fixed
  • Fixed a bug where deleting a medicine could look like it worked even when it failed on the server, so it would silently reappear later.
  • Fixed the edit/delete icons overlapping a medicine's details on mobile, on the per-time-slot rows for medicines taken more than once a day.
EA-V2.5 August 17, 2026

Set up and log in entirely from WhatsApp, a real Account Details page, and a more reliable reminder system.

Added
  • WhatsApp Setup — message Pillo "Hi" from a new number and set up your whole account right there in the chat: create your account, add a Care Circle member, and add their medicines either by typing them in or just sending a photo of the prescription. No website visit needed to get started.
  • "Add another medicine?" step at the end of WhatsApp Setup, so you can add everything for one person in a single session.
  • Log in with WhatsApp — on the login page, choose "Continue with WhatsApp," enter your number, and use the code sent to you instead of a password.
  • Account Details section in Settings — set a personal username, add or change your email (with a real Verified/Pending status once you confirm it), and see the phone number your account is registered with.
  • Delete Account option in Settings, with a typed confirmation before anything is removed.
Improved
  • Sidebar now has a one-click Sign Out instead of it being tucked in a separate Account page.
  • Doses that never get a "Taken" reply are now marked Missed after 6 hours (previously this could get stuck and never resolve for some accounts), so adherence stats stay accurate.
Fixed
  • Deleting your only Care Circle member no longer sends you into the full setup wizard — the dashboard just shows a normal "add your first member" card, like it does everywhere else.
  • Fixed a delivery bug where some WhatsApp messages to Pillo weren't reaching the bot at all.
  • Fixed a reliability issue with the automatic daily reminder system so reminders go out consistently.
  • Landing page — fixed the "Interested in Partnering?" card sitting flush against the divider line above it.
EA-V2.2 August 16, 2026

Profile avatars, a resumable Add Member flow, a safer delete confirmation, and a redesigned free Prescription Chart Maker tool.

Added
  • Profile avatar picker in Edit Settings — choose from 16 illustrated avatars for each Care Circle member, shown on their card and detail page.
  • "Finish Later" on the Add Member flow — once you have at least one member, you can save progress mid-setup and pick up later from a "Continue Setup" card in the Care Circle.
  • Tools menu in the site navigation, featuring the free Prescription Chart Maker.
Improved
  • Care Circle member cards now use a square photo instead of a portrait crop.
  • Removing a Care Circle member now opens a confirmation dialog explaining that their medicines, schedule, and reminder history will be deleted, instead of a two-click inline confirm.
  • Prescription Chart Maker rebuilt with a cleaner form, a custom icon set replacing emoji throughout, and a redesigned printable chart with softer borders and clearer typography.
EA-V2 August 15, 2026

A full Adherence Report, a redesigned Care Circle, and a cleaner Overview page.

Added
  • Full Adherence Report page per patient — weekly trend, plain-language insights (toughest weekday, most-missed medicine and time slot), and a 13-month browsable adherence calendar.
  • Click any day on the Adherence Calendar to see exactly what was taken, missed, or scheduled — including a marker for the patient's next follow-up appointment.
  • Patient switcher on the Adherence Report so caregivers with more than one person in their Care Circle can jump between reports without going back.
  • Country-code picker with live WhatsApp number verification for the caregiver field in Edit Settings, matching the add-member flow.
  • "Add Member" placeholder card in the Care Circle when there's exactly one person, so it doesn't sit alone.
  • This Changelog page.
Improved
  • Care Circle redesigned — portrait member cards with a colored photo block, inset delete button, and a solid action button, replacing the old table view.
  • Adherence Calendar now pages by month (arrows or swipe) with a smooth sliding animation instead of jumping instantly.
  • Day-detail popup redesigned as a proper card — a bottom sheet on mobile, a centered card on desktop — instead of a plain list.
  • Patient page's Adherence History trimmed down to the 4 headline numbers plus a link into the full report, instead of showing everything inline.
  • Dashboard greeting now stacks above your name instead of sitting side by side.
  • Removed the 3 summary cards at the top of the Overview page for a cleaner first screen.
Fixed
  • Day-detail popup was rendering inline in the page instead of as an overlay.
  • The delete-confirm button could overflow off-screen on mobile.
